We still have many VHS tapes to gather dust on a shelf. Rather than forget their precious contents, this accessory allows you to scan any analog source to burn a DVD or create a file to play on the computer. Practice, it requires no intervention on the computer, or have advanced knowledge as is often the case with the grabbers. Once installed, simply connect your VCR or analog camcorder to one side on the housing which is itself connected to the computer via the USB socket. If the price is high, it also comes with all cables you may need. Of course, a basic editing software is provided for cutting the footage you need, add transition effects and even create menus before finalizing your video. A powerful computer is still required because the encoding is a process that requires high computing power.
