World’s first 3G Ophone
Lenovo has launched world’s first 3G Ophone that was immediately available at China local stores. This device supports China Mobile OPhone OS smart phone system. Spreadtrum in coorperation with Lenovo released this device for the market and joined it in the Lenovo O1. This phones works on China Mobile led Intelligent Terminal software platform that is actually an Ophone platform. This Lenovo product uses chip QS3200 for this device. It is the world’s first smart phone that supports TD-SCDMA.
It supports GSM / GPRS / EDGE / HSDPA and also all features that every smartphone has.
For newbies Ophone OS means that it is a Linux based smartphone platform which is developed by China Mobile and also it is based on the Google OS Android.
This phone is 1mm bigger than the standard Iphone in all dimensions with size of a 115.84×61.57×12.03mm.
It has microSD card reader on the left and supports the microSD cards up to 16Gb.
On the back there is a place for battery and also a 5 Megapixel camera. It is probably the biggest competitor to Iphone that has really shaken the market with its Iphone.
